How to Customize your Email Subscription Form

To grab your subscription form code you go to Google Feedburner Account.

1. If you have multiple blogs, Click on the blog you want to customize.

2. Go to the tab Publicize > Email Subscriptions

3. Then copy the code in the window and paste it into the HTML/Javascript widget of your blog.

Customizing the Form

Customizable items are highlighted in gold.

You can customize:

The Border: Size, Decoration, & Color (for no border, delete “border to the semicolon”)

The Padding: Change the Space between the Border and the Content

The Alignment: Left, Center, or Right

The Size: Change the Width and/or Size of the Widget

The Text: You can change the text that says “Enter your email address:” (i.e. Get Posts in your Email!)

The Button: You can change the text of the “Submit” Button (i.e Get it!)

The Feedburner Link: You can either delete it or Change the text to say something else.

To add a background color to the form use this code:

(then include the rest of the subscription code behind this.)

To add a background image to the form use this code:

background-color:#f3919c

; padding:5px;text-align:center; background: url(http://your-image-url.png); background-repeat:no-repeat;”

 (then include the rest of the subscription code behind this.)

Note: You might have to adjust the padding and/or width of the form to fit the image you want for your subscription form.
